On Saturday, March 27 at 8:30 pm local time, hundreds of millions of people from around the world will switch off their lights in honor of Earth Hour. Last year more than 4,000 cities in 87 countries went dark. Here in the United States over 80 million people in 318 cities said “no” to light in the eight o’clock hour, and “yes” to making a switch to cleaner air, a strong economic future and a more secure nation.
If the Las Vegas Strip, the Empire State Building and the Eiffel Tower can ditch the power for a single hour, surely you can do it!
