Crowning Glory

MDG doesn't rush to cover fast food promotions, but her many ethical reservations were no match for a kid-friendly competition involving a crown, creativity, charity and a free trip to Legoland. McDonald’s may have its supersized Olympic marketing campaign, but Burger King’s got a brand new Design the Crown contest.C'mon!

From now through September 3, kids ages 6-12 are invited to create their very own custom crown at BKcrown.com for a chance to win a VIP family trip to LEGOLAND Park and be featured on the next BK Crown.  

Throughout the promotion, kids (and adults too) can also enter secret BK crown codes to choose which charities – including Wildlife Conservation Society, National Parks Conservation Association, DonorsChoose.org and Have it Your Way Foundation – Burger King will support.
