Step Up to the Plate

What do baseball and insurance have in common?  If you were reading this blog ‘round about the same time last year, you’d know the answer is the highly addictive Go to Bat game. For the third straight year, State Farm Insurance and MLB are betting you’ll go to bat for a good cause when tickets to the World Series and $18,000 for charity are up for grabs.

Get the game going here by selecting one of four great charities to play for: the American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Habitat for Humanity or Teach For America. Next, type in some personal details, agree to a few rules and regulations, create your own personalized player and then - play ball!

Once a week for 10 weeks (from now through September 17) one lucky player will be randomly selected, their chosen charity will receive an $18,000 donation, and he or she will take home two VIP tickets to the 2012 World Series.  Click here and kiss productive working hours goodbye.
